A friend and I stumbled onto an abandoned house, less than a mile away, so we instantly knew we had to shoot there. The holes are so strategic, and quite awesome. This will be REAL REAL REAL low budget, and will be shot on a fucking handycam, so it's definitely not going to look nice production-wise, but we work with what we've got.

I have a few questions, first off...
does anyone know where I can buy an external mic(be it boom, 0ne with a wire, or something else) that will plug into a handycam? Mine's the DCR-TRV130 (http://www.sonystyle.com/digitalimaging/P_Access_TRV130.shtml), meaning no mic input, but I do have a 'mini AV port'.

Finally, does anyone have really good fundraising ideas, besides putting in as much of your paycheck as you can? I read about "Thank You Credits" a while back, and will be doing that, along with selling some stuff at the flea market. I have no other real ideas besides that, maybe putting a can for pennies at the local italian ice place(we go there after shoots, it's like a mile away from the set)

Finally, I'll give you the premise of the flick, in case you're interested. Basically, all we know is it'll be a sketch-comedy so far, we might start it like some friends going into an abandoned house, and getting ready to tell scary stories about different characters, yet each story is just a funny bit.

So uh...yeah.
