: SANDMAN! Lemme quote Barney Gumble here: "just put it in my veins!"

: Best comic ever. I've got all ten compilations. Bit of a downer ending, though, although it was probably inevitable.

: I won't bother recommending other classics, you know what they are - Watchmen, DK1, etc. I will recommend an old, lesser known classic in the spirt of Sandman. Jim Starlin's Warlock series was top notch. I picked up Warlock Reprints 1-6 20 years ago (yeah, I'm THAT OLD. And my wife reads comics too.) See if you can find back issues, or if not look on alt.binaries.pictures.comics for scans. Issue 6 was the best although the others are definitely worth reading. Dreadstar is also great (and also by Starlin) but it's a good sixty issues or so. Worth a download if you can find it. The Price graphic novel is good, but I hate the black and white version Slave Labor Graphics did a few years back - try to find the color version.

: John

store today. I was riffling through boxes.

So you must have seen the Sandman in Green Arrow.
