ok, i know there are literally hundreds of postings and the likelyhood of anyone reading this mindless crap is unlikely, but i think it is my duty to get something off my chest, Kevin Smith fans annoy the p*ss out of me!!!
Not all of them though, not the true fans. It's the new ones, the ones who just quote jay and say how jay and silent bob is 'da bomb'.

Ok then
Well let me take you back like 8 years ago i think. A small film had just come out called Clerks, you might have heard of it....

I was in my first year at university and showing everyone that i could this film, and everyone was saying it was boring. Basically i think they didn't like the fact that it was in black and white and nothing blew up.
So anyway i loved the film, as i want to be a writer (im not butt kissing, tis truth, great scripts, dodgy camera work even you would admit Mr Smith)
This all happened in a small town outside of London, thats in England for any of you that need help on your geography.

So anyway, everyone hated the film, then mallrats came out and a few people liked it (personally it is my favourite film, Brodie and Randall need there own show tho, that would indeed be 'da bomb'.

Ok, this is taking too long, fast forward now 6 years or so. I am in the pub and a load of students are reciting jay and silent bob lyrics. One of them starts singing the Berserker song, and i almost applaud this because it is indeed a great song.

then i thought about it. People only realised how good Clerks was when Kevin Smith films got more commerical. Onm the one hand this is fantastic because they are all great films and its good that people dont have to watch stuff get blown up with no character basis or script.

On the minus side tho, i lost my Clerks enigma. Now iw asn't the only one who could quote the geius of the script.
I have been stripped of my licence to copy randall, and its not because of Clerks, its because people watched another great film years later (namely Dogma or Jay and Bob strike back)

These people have jumped on my bandwagon!!!
Now i have to find something new that no one likes, but i know if i do find something they will find out about it!!!!

Ok, rant over, if ANYONE ever reads this then fair play, you are a brave man/woman. Thanks for listening.
