Second question - the force. Oddly enough, they DID stick big ears on a monkey who was promptly fed spiked feed. They had to get several takes to get it JUST right, since the monkey kept whacking Christopher Lee in the knee with the saber prop...
Last - bad computer animation. Then again, the emotion he showed THERE was better than his emoting throughout the rest of the film!
