I was gonna let it go, but the more I thought about it the more steamed I got....

What the fuck, Dude?

FIRST of all, it's not just a movie site. If it was, you'd pop up and say "off topic" when talking about soundtracks or merchandising.

All right, that's extreme. "Sountracks and merchandising are okay, but you cant talk about the bands on the soundtracks OTHER albums outside the ViewAskew Universe."

Okay, that's harsh. Don't talk about Ben Affleck or Matt Damon's OTHER movies on this site. This is V-A movies only.

I think whoever said it was right: "You limit the board to fanboy appeal only and you lose a lot of folks." Do you sit at home with your friends and say "We're only going to talk about MOVIES tonight" or do you let the conversation wander and lag and go where it will?

Sure there's a lot of dumb "what are you listening to" and "favorite movie line" and "which character are you" and "who's more punk rawk: Bert or Ernie" shit. [Like you have to ASK, everyone knows it's Ernie: Bert is SO NEW WAVE, like Talking Heads and Television] So what? Are you sitting there reading every post because you don't have anything better to do?

I hope all this weirdness peters out after a while (and I don't even read every day and I post even less), but crimeny, take a chill pill or start your own board somewhere....

Sorry, my dander got ruffled... flame retardant suit donned, flame away!

Chaz

: I mean, its ok to ask a question over and over. But the problem is When people aren't asking movie related questions. Like "What are you listening to right now?" or "Take my pole"
