: A terrorist is someone who does not wear a uniform signifying him as part of a governments army. A terrorist is someone who HIDES a weapon, and then uses it by walking into the center of a crowd and killing non military personnel.

We simply disagree on that, then. If you want to argue semantics, then I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you. So, by that logic, you'd rather use some half-assed dictionary definition of the word? Why not define the act by its results, not by what the actor is wearing and carrying. Killed innocents is the result.

: The israelis do use SOLDIERS! They have uniforms, they have visible guns, and they have only attacked key areas IN RESPONSE to attacks on them. Plus, they announce that they are going to attack. Do they both kill? YEs, but that is a product of any form of violence.

So wearing visible uniforms somehow make it NOT terrorist activity to strafe refugee camps with helicopters? How many innocent, non-military personnel do you think that has killed?

: But, still, you seem to imply you have much wisdom.

Thanks. That wasn't the point.

: What is the correct response to a bunch of zealots blowing up civilians not once, but countless times? Ignore them? If your suggestion is to give back there land. Yeah, that's simple, Why not. While your at it lets give back all the land to the native Americans, and to Mexico.

Bottom line, I don't think killing MORE people is a response to ANYTHING. But also, in case you didn't notice, I offered no solutions. Because, like everyone else, I HAVE NONE. If I knew the answer, then I'd be out doing it, and sure as hell not posting here.

: Like I said, It is a complex issue.

Obviously. I never denied that.

: But, Both sides are responsible for the state they are in.

Again, I never denied that. I agree wholeheartedly.

: Jesus, they have been killing each other over the same things for many hundreds of years.

And THAT is why there is no solution. Nothing will ever be good enough to appease either side. It's been ingrained in their cultural consciousness to hate one another. George Bush, Ariel Sharon, Yasser Arafat - just a few more names to add to the already long list of those who will be unable to change it.
