AOTC is much better the second time around (so far everyone I know who saw it a second time liked it a lot more).

: I realized that the only real problem the movie has is the way that it portrays Anakin. It comes across fine that he'll be Vader, but we never see why Padme would possibly fall for him, and we never see any of the respect that Obi-Wan later clearly has for him, but that's because of the way he's written. It ain't Hayden's fault, it's just a badly written part. George probably doesn't know how to write convincing bad guy backstory.
