I bet Roeper got wood,staring at Tommy Cruise,that rapscalion of
Scientomoomomomlogy. If I was Roeper, I'd quit the show because
he is becoming known as the guy who is'nt Siskel. Siskel was cool in
that "I'm a nerd but I'm smarter than you so fuck off" way. Roeper is
like some fucking book club member who cries after every book he
reads. Siskel was also on one of the funniest Larry Sanders shows,
and thats saying something.
:::::: i got goose bumps when they did. i know their opinion could
deffinitly not suit mine, but i really trust eberts picks. i love spilberg
and tom cruise is great, but the trailer for minority report was
dissapointing, and i was hoping it wasnt another AI. well from the
clips they showed on ebert and roper, and how much they raved bout
it i cant wait to see it. ::::::::
Spielberg rocks, Cruise hits Sosa-esque on scripts(Sure, the
occasional "Far and Away" misses badly) so I expect it to be worth
atleast 8 bucks. Still, Tommy boy has to start picking some better
action stuff, MI:2 was a pile of shite. Speaking of Woo, Windtalkers
was originally supposed to be released in December, which was a
prime time to release a patriotic movie. Now, after it sits on the shelf
for a few months, the heat dies and another flick is killed by the
stupid fucking studios. One movie I have hopes for is Guy Ritchie's
"Knights of Malta". Its the (Twue,its twue!)story of a Muslim Shiekh
who decides to have one more crusade and use Malta as his staging
point for an invasion of Europe. 700 Knights of Malta make a stand
against thousands of the Sheikhs soldiers and repluse the brutes,
etching their names into the history books that modern people pass
by in the bookstore to buy the lastest Jackie Collins shitfest. My
Grampa was a Knight of Malta,they rock.
::gonna go friday to see that and windtalkers which i heard was quite
bad. :::;
I bet its getting shitty reviews because its like puddin' that has been
sittin around for years.
it would just be great if minority report was the next ET, Jaws or
Indiana jones, or any other great magical movie spielberg made>>>>
Hopefully,its not that Scwarzenegger movie with him and his clone.
