Yeah, but in those cases it wasn't a blatant attempt at being that way, they were the first ones so they didn't have any guidelines. Mos of the cases were of being PI (Speedy Gonzalez, Popeye beating up "Japs", Daffy fightinh Naziz, mockery of people from the south)
What I was talking about was movies like Fritz the Cat and Cool World that didn't do well because audiences were turned off by such crudeness in a cartoon.
