Ok ok ok...I hate posting questions...but some of us (my buddies) are starting the works on a film. And it is taking place in a theater (where I work) and other various spots. Here's the question. On Clerk's I notice they 'accidentally' have a few shots of name brand items. I also see they avoided name brand by creating there own, but what happens if you 'accidentally' have name brand items in the movie? Must you get ahold of the company or what? What did Kevin do?
Now, at the theater the big problem will be with movie posters, banners, standees. Do I have to just have some fake movies created? Or if I use current ones would we have to get ahold of the companies?! Other than that, we're just going to try and avoid as much of it as possible.
One more thing...does Sundance, or any other decent film festivals allow digital movies? The equipment we have is mostly digital, cameras, computers, etc. Thanks Guys...
