I was reading EW this weekend and they had box office listings for Dogma and JASBSB I think it was because of Matt Damon....anyway....Both movies were listed as making just under 31mil. However, according to EW Dogma was on half the number of screens that JASBSB was on. Additionally, I would assume that ticket prices have gone up, if even slightly since 1999. Would this mean that Dogma was much more successful than JASBSB? My favorite KS movie is Dogma, its even in my top ten not that anyone cares, but I hadn't realised it had much mainstream success, I would have bet that the more balls out comedy of JASBSB would have been more mainstream successful.
Please comment or let me know if the figures are incorrect and JASBSB did outperform Dogma.
