Pete does have a hearing problem, but he can still play & tour.

And he wrote a good solo album back in 1989. It had the hit single "A Friend is a Friend" (I think that's the name). That whole album is pretty decent.

And so what if he hasn't written anything of caliber since 1984. I think he did a hell of a lot. He deserves a break.

And (for the 3rd time) touring with Roger as NOT The Who is really lame. Roger & Pete are the soul of The Who. If they toured together, it wouldn't make sense if they were called something else.
