Remember, the huge irony is that the Japanese are appealing to a South Asian republic that has a taste for American war movies, and are doing it in such a way that it is ripping off MGM, the US movie company.

Maybe it's just me, but seeing the subtitles in Japanese characters is actually making me giggle.

On that note, of the 50 DVD's I bought in Manila, none of them were VA pics, even though Drawing Flies was only $2 there. (I had to hold myself back, admittedly).
