He says above that he is often negative.
Perhaps he was being sarcastic, but it seemed sincere to me.
Personally I think going at someone who was a jerk is not the same as being a jerk first.
If you think it makes me a bad person for attacking him back that's fine, I just usually reserve my negative energies for people I have problems with and I've never had one with you nor have I said anything negative about you... other than take issue with your idea that posting here for a long time is some automatic badge of honor.
If you post negatively for a long time then you don't have any more leverage than if you just started.
