: I love Kevin's work and all, but that original ending was totally in the "well, it's indie, so someone's gotta die for it to be even MORE edgy!"-vein. It's just unecessary, totally out of place, impossibly bleak and, worst of all, completely pointless. The point (Well, one of many) of the movie isn't that everything ends on a "down note", it's what you ultimately make for yourself in life. During that whole "down note" rant we should all for once be listening to Randal and not Dante...
