Here is a question that I have wondered about, but have never had the intestinal fortitude to ask about. In all of Kevin Smith's movies, one time or another someone takes their pulse, and also in J&SBSB Jason Lee's character does the whole "chocolate pretzle" schtick. So, my question, is how did this inside joke actually occur?
