You see, Lee was actually a porn star. You know Dirk Diggler form Boogie Nights? Well that character was actually based on him. Well, one day, a young filmmaker by the name of Kevin Smith happened to see one of Mr. Lee's "films" and, suffice it to say, he became infatuated with him, not unlike the character "Mango" on SNL (In fact, he too was based on Lee). Kevin built up the courage to approach the mythical Lee and ask him if he would be interested in starring in his new movie, a porno for Universal called "Mallrats". Surprisingly, Lee accepted and the movie was made. When the film was finished and ready to release, Universal realized that they could make more money with film if they cut out the scene where Stan Lee graphically explains to Brodie superhero anatomy and the scene where Svenning and Lafours take turns going down on each other, and market it as a teen comedy. Of course, you can still see many remnants of its original incarnation. Some examples: Brodie and René in the elevator, Shannon's video, the three nippled fortuneteller, etc... All of these scenes of course were heavily cut, and some were taken out all together. Most notably the now famous scene where Jay and Silent Bob's true relationship is revealed (let's just say they are not HETERO life mates).
