: He doesn't really have that big of a part in the movie as the rest of the characters. That would be like saying why isn't George Carlin? Or Sean William Scott? Their pretty famous too in they're own rights but Ben just had more screen time in it. Plus he played two roles. Matt was just thrown in there because Kevin was making a stab at Good Will Hunting so to make it more geniune he casted Matt to reprise the role of Will Hunting.
