: I can see your reasoning, but if you have the PS2 you really DO interact with the characters. Since some games are getting to be more and more movie like you would have the best of both worlds.

: Then again a PS2 is a DVD player, so you might be able to weasle on a technicality that you want nothing but DVDs and a player and insist that you get to choose the DVDs and player that you want. Since most PS2 games are DVD they would be included and you could pick the PS2 as your player since it is totally sweet.

: You wouldn't get all the old PS1 games, but it's a small price to pay for a DOGMAesque loophole I'd say.
