...aside from the 'By The Way' single, so I can't really comment on that. The single's... pretty good. Nothing fantastic, but... pretty good. I'm hoping there's a few 'funky' songs, similar to their earlier stuff. The 'funky' sound can get a little tedious after a while, but it's good in small doses.
As for the new Weezer stuff - I'm liking it so far. It seems a lot more experimental than the past couple of albums, letting band members other than Rivers try their hand at writing and singing songs. I'm very impressed by 'Modern Dukes' and 'Yellow Camaro'.

: I really do like where these guys have gone, but I really miss the old Hendrix-esque Frusciante on guitar, like on Blood Sugar Sex Magic. Of course, that's what you get when Rick Rubin/George Clinton team up to produce your album.
