I purchased the first of a four parter about Black Cat/Spider-Man today and have to say I was impressed. I wouldn't say I was a comic nut or indeed anything above a novice. But I know the basic history behind the Parker-Felica romance and I actually found this comic to be extremely entertaining.

I am more of a Daredevil fan than I am of Spidey but I found the writing in this to be nearly as good as the writing on the current Daredevils. I found Smith's trademark humour fit well into the comic book and made it very enjoyable.

I did however feel that the comic had been sexed up too much and this decreases it's rating. I understand that Felica's character is flirty and impulsive but it was OTT.

I'd give this comic 8/10 and end with the comment that I can't wait for part 2.
