I think alot of it has to do with the performance of his PC, and his video card.
I shelled out for a Matrox when it was the big thing, and I think it helped in the video rendering end of it. I also built a smoking system with a p3 processor, and a raid hard drive array. Lots of ram too.
But if it renders back too video great, it may be an obstacle to deal with.
As long as your distributed product looks good.

I always send my video back to dv, then dv to vhs for distribution.

: I used to know a guy that shot digital cam, and the MPEG file when viewed on a monitor was somewhat blocky but on video looked very sharp. Is your experience the same and have you used video transfers?
