I love bootlegs, have many, used to be the only way to get HardBoiled, Bullet in the head, and Eraserhead...

Funny thing is, every bootleg I've ever owned, I also bought the "official" copy whenever it was made available...

Yes, something that is new and aint had a chance to release is one thing, but I'm willing to bet we've all got a few "generic" box cover tapes roaming around somewhere!

I hear ya Lynch, but don't you have a few Argento, or John Woo tapes in the closet somewhere? With the growth of DVD and such they're less common, but it's still an age-old form of fandom...

Kev even refered to Godzilla Bootlegs, which we all own!
