If you have like over a hundred bucks that's burning a hole in your pocket, you might be able to get the Criterion version off of E-bay. This version has two commentary tracks (one from the three actors, one from Rob Reiner and a producer), the original 20 minute piece they made with money they were given to develop a script, and some deleted scenes which aren't on the new disc. However, the new disc also has deleted scenes which aren't on the old disc (and they both also share many in common). Basically, the new one is a perfectly acceptable version, and the old one is out of print.
