...I mean it, I've never seen something so carefree and happy. And you're still talking about RHCP? That's SO yesterday. I'd hate to live in such a backwards nation where new CDs come out a Tuesday, rather than a Monday.
Anyway, Idlewild's new CD comes out next Monday, so I'm saving my pennies for that. Although I'll still probably buy 'By The Way' in a day or two.
: Picked up the new Peppers album...interesting. It's definitely a good listen, and it's nice to hear a band aging gracefully for once, instead of piddling out into useless mediocrity. Unfortunately, the new Counting Crows is also out today. The Crows have a fascinating ability to write songs the sound instantly familiar. Unfortunately, they're SO familiar that you think you've already heard each song too many times already, so you're sick of the album before you've even bought it. Go figure.
