The reason though unfortunatly is a good one...When the show was being developed, all 13 episodes had stories. But after the 6th show, it was cancelled and the writers (all great ones) moved onto different shows and when it got renewed, new writers were brought in...on the UK dvd, the first disc (thre 1st 6 episoders) are great, and after seeing them I thought they'd picked up now that simpsons is getting sucky...then I saw disc 2....eww
