: I just saw Dogma the other day and I was thoroughly impressed! There was a lot to tackle here to pull off a metaphysical comedy and it was a total success. I want more! Let's take it a step further! Does anyone know where I can find info on how Kevin (genius writer and now - theologian!) came up with this wacky yet appropriate premise - is he a closet Anne Rice fan or what? What's funny is that anyone making a film like this would have a hard time not stamping their beliefs all over it yet Kevin made it humanity-based as opposed to preachy and condescending. What objectivity! Come on, Kevin, leave the silicon wasteland and go document some abstract religion in Africa or something. You obviously have a very unique persepective on beliefs and that is rare!
