I could see them doing a bare bones one disc, but since Anderson gave so much stuff to Criterion, wouldn't it be a product nobody would want? I mean, anybody who wants the movie can get this disc pretty cheap (for now, at least), and anybody who doesn't want it isn't going to want it more when Criterion retains the copyrights to everything and doesn't allow it on the disc.

Dammit, I'd hate it if they suddenly busted out an uber-version. Mostly 'cause I'd probably have to buy it.

I personally can't believe that they haven't done it yet. Is there some kind of legal hold-up because of the old version?
