Macs are definitely easier to use. However, PCs are better for games because everyone uses PCs and thus all the games are made for PCs and ON PCs. Macs are good for networking, except so often you need to use a floppy drive when you're using a network and iMacs don't have floppy drives.
Personally, I would never buy an iMac, and anyone who buys a computer because it's flourescent green should be shot in the face. But that's just my opinion.
