I don't know if any of you are familiar with a new book that has come out, it is called Shoot Out: Surviving Fame and misFortune in Hollywood by Peter Bart and Peter Guber.
Guber was the Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures and Bart is Editor in Chief of Variety....for years they have been teaching a wildly popular class at UCLA....they have basically taken that class and made a book out of it, and in an effort to both promote that book and I suppose get a national audience for their class they have the class available online for free...It is a ten session course and you can pick and choose which sections interest you, I haven't started it yet, but I will soon, you may need a high speed internet connection I am not sure....but I wouldn't be suprised if the class isn't free in the future so you may want to take advantage of it now...
