I was just throwing it out as a joke. The thing is I think I can do the job, but I'm caught between whether I'm being smart and playing it safe by second guessing, or if it's my lack of confidence that I think I'm going to fail that's holding me back from taking my first step into a field I've been wanting to do...
Am I just afraid of failing? Am I afraid of failing because I sense my own incompetence? Do I sense incompetence because I tend to underestimate myself?
