: I just bought and read Daredevil: Visionaries
: This was my first comic book and I loved it.
: I do have a few questions though...

: What is Hells Kitchen?

: Did spider-man clone himself...if so, what is that all about?

: Any suggestion on where to go next for comic books. I have read Daredevil and I read the Spider-man & Black Cat comic book online. I was thinking of going to Quiver.

: Thanks
: Rob

diamond comics site -- they have the list of the recommended books for young adults under Graphic Novels.

If you want to just pick up some comics, by all means, browse. Lynda Barry is a favorite writer of mine, and Matt Groening once said she taught him that you can do a comic about anything. It's true.

You just missed free comic book day by about two months. Some shops still have the wares around & if you ask, you may be able to get a few stories to try out. I got some British comics that were more witty than funny, and a couple of things out of the early '80s that they'd reprinted to hand out on that day. Love & Rockets, Naughty Bits, Hopeless Savages... Not really to my taste. I prefer fantasy along the lines of The Sandman or the more realistic of the superheroes stories - Green Arrow, Birds of Prey.
