In cases of rape, a majority of the time, there ARE no cases of rape, because it's rarely reported.

It WAS reported in Michael Jackson's case, however, and whether it ever really happened, you and I will never know. I'm also a HUGE proponent in the idea that "defendants are innocent until proven guilty," but unfortunately, the court of public opinion has already delivered its verdict. Bastard is simply playing the role of one of the jurors.

Damning evidence or not, the family settled because Michael Jackson threw a huge check at them. It's just another case of "money buys justice," and that little boy's family perpetuated it. If his parents believe what happened to their son DID happen and didn't pursue prosecution in lieu of cashing in, they're not fit to be parents.

Therefore, I tend to come down on Michael Jackson's side, simply because money was more important than justice and the word "rape" is thrown around way too often.
