we're all laughing at your analogy that "American Beauty" is weed on film. Or is it a metaphor?
I could think of a lot of jokes right now to mock that theory, but all of them would be kind of derisive towards "American Beauty" and, even though there's a lot I don't like about the movie, it's too enjoyable for me to rip on it.
