First off.... Happy Birthday Kevin, hope it's a good one, BTW The Evil Men Do is really great, not that I doubted you...
Anyway on to more annoying things. Why in God's name does MTV have to come along and fuck shit up? There's going to be a Spider-Man CGI-cartoon on MTV with Doogie-fucking-Howser as the voice of the web-slinger. Why? When was the last time MTV did anything good? OK, I'll give you The Osbournes, but before that when did MTV make something great? HMMMMM, maybe back in the dark ages when they actually used to play videos, the reason the channel was invented BTW. But lately, and please correct me if I'm wrong, all MTV can provide us with is sad, sad re-runs of Road Rules and the Real World. Again trying to Capitolize on what's popular, I have a feeling they're gonna take the Spidey series and turn it into shit. Just something for the screaming little girls that stalk, who I believe is the man responsible for the death of good music on MTV, Carson Fucking Daily. Will some one please just shoot that guy. NO MORE TRL. Anyway, I'm a little pissed about this because I hate MTV and I don't think they'll do the wall-crawler justice, but I could be wrong. Or it'll just be short-lived. How many great shows did they throw away?
The list: Ren and Stimpy (although crude, that's what was great about it)
The State ( one of the best sketch-comedy shows out there)
My So Called Life ( hey it's better than the Real World. I mean how many times can you watch them kick Puck out?)
Liquid Television (Need I say more)
Although I'm not a big fan, they even got rid of Beavis and Butthead.
So anyway, if you feel like I do about the Evil Empire that is MTV then please join me in saying Fuck MTV, Fuck it up it's stupid ass.
