OT-my Army Of Darkness situation

okay, so i just picked up the director's cut bootleg edition of this film. of course, it's sweet as hell... it has 15 minutes of footage
that universal cut out of the previous version put back in, commentary with bruce campbell and sam raimi, storyboards, and deleted scenes,
including the "original" ending. what i was unaware of is that while the "original" ending is there, the ending where he's kickin' ass at the s-
mart is not. the "original" ending is stuck back on where it used to be. i'm not saying it's a bad ending, it's just, i thought it was going to be in the deleted scenes section, or at least just have both endings on the disc somewhere. now, if i wanted someone to see this movie, should this be the lending one, or should i tell them to go rent the NOT bootleg version? or should i purchase the normal version just to have in case i felt like watching that one?

also, i just bought the evil dead 1 on dvd, but i did not realize that the "book-of-the-dead" version is available in town. for those unfamiliar, the BOTD version is the evil dead dvd with the works in a box that looks like the book of the dead from the movie. my copy of it has
most of the same special features, but not the 2 coolest ones, including bruce campbell's "fanalysis" documentary.

okay, so now theoretically if i have 2 copies of the evil dead and army of darkness, when i buy evil dead 2, am i going to have to buy 2
different versions of that also just to be even? i mean, part 2 is my favorite! my other problem is that this whole thing is a problem. i
seriously don't think this is healthy to be in such termoil about this movie collection. why do i need 2 copies of any of them? isn't one
version good enough? what in heavens name is wrong with me?! i am insane, aren't i? at least when the back to the future trilogy comes out in december, there will only be 2 versions: "fullscreen" and "widescreen," and i think we all know which version is the better of the two. seriously, what the fuck is wrong with me?!
