...ruined any interest in the series if I'd been a fan at the time - it just seemed dedicated to fucking around with the normally pretty damn good continuity that Spidey tries to hold, and introducing ridiculous 'alternate dimensions' and the like, all of which seem a little too 'Silver Surfer'ish for a Spidey comic. And was there really a character called 'Madame Web'? I'm picking up a lot of this from the cartoon, but... Madame Web? Jesus...

: I cant help but thinking of the atomics when i look at the x-static cover funny that :P. My copy of DK2 #3 should be waiting for me in my preorder stuff and Thundercats was listed in last months previews as was some little independant one that i forget... umm ape dude unravelled? no thats not it... so that means its 2 months away.

: Ive said it before and ill say it again, i kinda gave up on marvel when i was reading spidey, i stuck through the clone bit... mostly.... but then aunt may died and then a few issues later it was like it never happened! And that just isnt cricket that is, so i gave up on all marvel. Only now with the ultimates have i started reading them again, (blade, marvel knights, elektra via marvel.com, black cat). But anyway, end rant.

: : ...but I still managed to pick-up the last DK2 and a copy of X-Men Unlimited - the one with all the Wolverines scrappin' it out on the cover. Very cool, and a nice issue as well - there's too many X-Men comics out there, but Unlimited seems one of the better ones. Saw the new 'X-Statix' but... well, it didn't intrigue me. Too many X's. Was Thundercats supposed to come out this week? I forget... it didn't come in for me though.

: :
: : : as you may well know yesterday was comic day and i made my one of my 52 annual pilgrimages to the holey land, but tradegy struck! There was no comics yet as the shipment was delays. Oh the humanity, why must the innocent always suffer.
