1. as a wanabe director/screenwriter, i have found a new love for classic cult movies, that, while bad are filmaking at its purest. so if i wrote a script, a silly little horror film (not copied from evil dead) and wanted to atempt to sell it or get money for its production, anyone hoave any clue how i should go about?as im sure marimax wouldnt be at all interested in anything as trashy...hmm perhaps i just gotta start stealing money from grandma

2. does anyone know how much directors are payed? yes i understand its by the movie, but do they get paid a percentage of the gross or just a flat paycheck from the studio regardless of weather the film flops or not. the only thing i heard was that the director of "the rookie" made only 1 million. for everyone else though im clueless

3. better movie: the evil dead or dead alive?
