I used to talk to Evan Dorkin on AIm, mostly about milk & cheese but sometimes about space ghost. He worked on it as a writer for a while..anyhoo...they interview the celebs more or less straight, but with jokey questions and they sign this thing that ensures the producers of the show will not edit the footage to mean somethoing else. They are allowed to make jokes with it ie. Bjork as Space Ghost's wife was really being interviewed, then the writers used her answers to make a show.
