: funny you should say that, we have been doing some funny 80's covers lately. my favorite is our version of Footloose. and name generators, i don't think i'll resort to that. what i used to do was make a huge list of adjectives and a list of nouns and cut them apart and put them in a hat and draw one adj and one noun. i had names like "the leaky sofa's" and "the oblong muffin-tins". those weren't for real bands, just for fun. however, the ska band i formed a couple years ago was called "Leon's Party Mix." i stole it from a phillips cd-burner commercial... the guy had it written on his cd; then he started dancing to indian music. weird. actually, the rubber band that i have now is pretty much that ska band, just with no horns and a diff. bass player. and we really don't play ska. it sounds more like a cross between green day and weezer. anyhoo, back to work.
