You've heard the story of how my next door neighbor made my right eardrum rupture, so let me tell you the tale of how I lost my hearing the first time.
My Story:
I was sixteen. I had just been grounded for breaking curfew and being found with cigarettes in my pocket (although I didn't smoke any of them and seriously was holding them for a friend). My parents were going out for a weekend, so they decided to hire an eighteen-year-old neighbor to "watch over" me. It was around nine o'clock that night, right after we finished eating pizza and were watching TV, when put her hand on my knee. I was quite surprised by it, especially when she started kissing me. About ten minutes later, we were in my parent's bedroom having sex. Suddenly, after about twenty or thirty minutes into the excursion, I heard someone open my front door, stalk upstairs, and bust into my parent's bedroom. A large man ran over to where she and I were lying, grabbed me by the ear, and slammed me against the wall. He grabbed the babysitter (whose name I cannot recollect) and dragged her out of the house. The next day, I found out that the large man had been her father, and she had a curfew of her own and had failed to inform him that she was "watching over" me. I was, of course, grounded for another few weeks, and my hearing in the ear he had grabbed (my right ear, if memory serves) was all but gone.
