: She's packing up her car because we're moving out of our house, she puts a TV in the trunk and slams it closed. The emergency brake fails. The car rolls back over her, knocks her down -- now our driveway is on a steep incline, so if it had rolled all the way over her, she'd have been torn to pieces. She holds onto the back bumper, lifts her head because she feels it bump the ground (fortunate, because she would have busted it open at the bottom of the driveway otherwise), gets dragged all the way down the driveway into the highway, her clothes are totally scraped off of her. There happens not to be a tractor-trailer coming at that very moment (thank Whomever) as she was pinned under the car she would have been killed.
: The only car coming immediately as that happened was an EMT off duty. He got her out and called an ambulance.
: Amazingly nothing is broken but she's bruised to hell and has skinless shoulders.
: She is so lucky. She also flew through a windshield at age 4 the DAY they opened a state of the art pediatric wing at a hospital twenty minutes away. She was their first patient.
