I would kill to write dialogue like that. First, it completely drives the story forward without the viewer questioning the character's motives (in other words, it's just so fucking believable that you see the character in the movie instead of the actor reading dialogue portraying a character), secondly, the subtle humor is astounding (every time I watch it I see something new or understand a little quip better. That is perfection when a writer can accomplish that), and lastly because I would like to tell a story that personal some day. It's not like Kevin went through that exact scenerio, but he based it on a few things that had happened to him and embelished. That's why I say Amy, because I can't think of another movie that accomplishes all those factors and has a story that sticks with a viewer as well.
