Grrrrrrrrr......... New DvD player in my Comp.....

and though there is no visible scratch in my Dogma DvD it is telling me that there is at about the underground parking sequence. Any suggestions? The only DvD i currently own and it doesn't completely work in my comp (and I'd really rather not buy it a second time).
