Go see his other work if you want. Why not, most of it is at least mildly amusing. But he's just another Hollywood guy now. Politics are better than most but he's no longer innovative. I mean, JSBSB was a big bizzaro killoff of his best work anyhow, he's become a parody of himself.
I still buy his stuff (although the recent Black Cat was WAY too T&A, Straczynski did a much better job with the character.) I just don't expect too much from him. I'll see Jersey Girl, but I won't wait in opening-weekend lines like I did for Dogma.
