just a quick question bout them since i saw the thread below...and in case anyone cares, i, like vincent, would be willing to shell out a bit more them if i love the features and the movie. for me, 35 dollars is a lot of money for the SE of traffic or Rushmore, but it will just be something ill get used, or will start saving up for. ok my question is... is there a certain reason movies go out of print? i know film companies are always doing such, which was why i had to buy lawrence of arabia and fight club SE today, but i was curious as to why Criterion did, and if there was a special reason for making that certain movie out of print. for example, why did hard boiled and spinal tap go out of print and not, lets say 'the lady eve"
real shame about spinal tap. i would have loved to have gotten that. the SE out now isnt bad at all, but the Criterion one apparently blows it away
