When Raikus used to change his screen name to "VA Board Moderator" and say that certain threads were closed, certain users would be banned if they didn't cease and desist whatever they were doing, and that certain users had "gone over their thread limit", many newbies thought it was real. I couldn't help but laugh.
(Fun tidbit: If you look closely at the "Jay and Silent Bob" sign at the beginning of "Clerks" when they first appear in the film, you can see a miniature "m" written in the middle of Bob's name to make it read "Jay and Silent Bomb".)
