... and Besson, like John Sayles before him, often writes crowd-pleasers for the cash so he can make his own films with minimal studio intervention. He now depends on foreign investors quite a bit, but if Besson's at the helm, I'm confident it'll turn out great.

Hmm... Jason Statham in "The Transporter", written by Luc besson... he was also in "The One" with Jet Li... the followup to "Kiss Of The Dragon", written by... Luc Besson!
