Well, I dozed through the "making of" the video on Mtv, and that seemed like that was the directors intentions and the way that Ms. Lo described her take on the video, but, when I saw the video, I just didn't see it. I didn't take any message from it at all. The vision was lost somewhere. Whatever they were going for just didn't come across, or maybe I don't read "the media" that much. I liked the bikini shots though :)

Oh, and the song is horrifically bad. That whole "i'm just, I'm just" part bites so hard. Why the stutter? ooooh oh I know..., because somebody rushed out some crappy lyrics to throw over some crappy beat to hurry up and sell some records. That bugs me about as much as same word rap rhyming. "I'm from the street and tough as a nail, mess wit me I hit you like a hammer hits a nail..."-type crap.

: : : As pretentious as it is self absorbed.
: : : : And the "song" sucks..........

: : : But I saw the video as being a parody of all of the press those two have been getting. Some of the shots are direct replication of photos from magazines.

: : Did you notice how pumped up Ben was.. he reminded me of a peacock! It just seemed pompus and fake.. to me at least.

: I don't know, I just saw it as parody of what is portrayed in the media.
