Background Info:

She told me that she only watched the first 10 minutes of Clerks before she turned it off. She refuses to watch Mallrats or Dogma because of the reviews they got, and she has no urge to watch J&SBSB.

Situation:

I come home with some DVDs from Blockbuster and Chasing Amy was one of them. I didn't tell her it was a Kevin Smith film. All she knew is that it starred Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, and Joey Lauren Adams (all three of which she likes).

She completely enjoyed the movie until the second Jay and Silent Bob show up. Then she wants me to turn it off. She refused to watch the entire scene. So I regretably skipped it, and we continued watching.

She says she didn't like the ending. She thought they should have ended up together. Again I tried to explain, but she wasn't having any of it.

What should I do? (No, kicking her to the curb is not an option.)
